I worked as a Software Developer at Zensurance for approximately 16 months as part of co-op program. I primarily worked on a team of six, where we worked on an internal application targeted at optimizing and pipelining changes to insurance products for product managers and the insurance team. I contributed to both the frontend and backend of the application, where we used React.js, Nest.js (similar to express), and MongoDB. Over my time at Zensurance, I contributed to around 90 tickets and became an established member of the team. In addition, I was involved in various scrum-based and stakeholder meetings, and participated in on-calls once every few months.

This fullstack web application was developed to enhance my skills in modern web development, using a range of popular frameworks and technologies. The application is a restaurant website that allows users to browse restaurants created by other users, as well as create, edit, and delete their own restaurants. Additionally, users can manage reviews for each restaurant, including creating, updating, and deleting reviews. Authentication and authorization are handled through JWT, ensuring secure access to user-specific features.
